Lublin won the title of European Capital of Culture 2029 with a long-standing tradition of avant-garde culture, daring theatre, classical and alternative music, visual arts and new circus present in the everyday life of the city, but above all, art that is created here in Lublin and created by local artists. Lublin is permeated by the extraordinary heritage of the Union of Lublin, full of bold visions, and the still alive traditions of an open, sensitive and, thanks to this, multicultural city. Here, the slogan 'From the Lublin Union to the European Union' is most fully realised.
